This luxury vehicle will feature an advanced 3.5L V6 engine with dual variable valve timing with intelligence. With a Lexus model comes top-of-the-line features, and car buyers can expect:

• MP3 sound enhancement and 5.1 surround sound

• 12.3-inch, split-screen, high-resolution multi-media display navigation system (optional)

Car buyers checking out the 2013 GS in our Lexus showroom will also have a chance to see the next-generation Lexus Enform — a system that uses mobile technology to provide even more information and connectivity for drivers. You’ll have access to many different tasks and applications, including:

Also included are 10 airbags, which includes a knee airbag for the driver and passenger in the front seat. Passengers in the rear will have seat-mounted side airbags, and all four passengers will have side curtain airbags.

Also available with the Lexus GS is a first-in-class infrared camera that will monitor the driver’s status. If it registers that the driver is not looking forward when a collision could potentially occur, the system will send out a warning. If the driver doesn’t respond or make appropriate maneuvers, the high-tech system will initiate braking intervention two seconds earlier to lessen the severity of the collision.

Other safety features available include:

• Night vision system to enhance visibility at night
• Heads up display
• Blind spot monitor to detect cars in your rear/side blind spots
• Lane keep assist with lane departure warning
